Two things stood out to me:
1) 38% (21/55) of officers killed were shot within 0-5 feet
of the subject
2) of the 38 officers out of a total of 55 killed with a
handgun, 18% (7) were killed with their own weapon. This is still way too high,
but a increasing improvement from a percentage standpoint.
This reiterates the importance of realistic and effective
CQC training....
