are you violent?

I am a violent man; and that is okay…

Violence defined: noun;
1. Swift and intense force. 2. Rough or injurious physical force, action, or treatment.

Violence often has negative connotations. Yet, violence is a part of everyday life and nature. It is around us every day. Child birth is violent; yet the most beautiful of miracles.

Violence is a part of the natural cycle and is necessary. It is ...only when violence is used by evil men to bully, victimize or oppress that it is negative. It becomes positive (and necessary) when good men use it to overcome such evil; to protect and even to create.

We are born with a capacity for violence; the physical tools to carry out violence and a fierce natural desire to protect what is good. I think it is important to embrace this and understand it. Focused, well intended violence is positive and we should develop the skills to be able to be violent when needed. Foster the warrior within.
